Picnic in the Park

What time is it? Picnic Time! Kick off the (un-official) start of Summer with Picnic in the Park at Arsenal Yards.

Pick up your favorite take-out from any Arsenal Yards restaurant and reserve your spot on the River Green to enjoy live music from local musician, Joe Carson. A cash bar will be available at the event. Picnic in the Park is a 21+ series only.

Registration is required through Eventbrite and limited capacity is available. Please make sure you select the appropriate reservation for all guests in your party. Reservations are available for groups of 2 - 6 people. Please make one reservation for all guests in your party.

Cost: $2 per person with all proceeds benefiting the Watertown Food Pantry

About Picnic in the Park:

To celebrate summer and the outdoors, join us in the River Green on one Thursday and Friday a month through August. We invite you to bring takeout from one of our awesome AY restaurants and meet us on the River Green for live music. Our schedule is packed with a variety of local performers! All events will have a cash bar serving select beer and wine only.

Events are weather dependent and we reserve the right to cancel an event in the case of inclement weather. All refunds will be processed for a canceled event.

About the Performers:
Natalie Joly is an award-winning recording artist who has been performing in New England for over a decade. Natalie has built a reputation for her powerful vocals, vibrant performances and edgy rock-infused pop songs that are once relatable and addictively unique. Learn more about Natalie Joly, here.

Joe Carson has as been performing as a singer and guitarist in Boston for over 10 years. He's played all over the city finding a way to draw people in and get them singing and dancing. Learn more about Joe Carson, here.

The Soul Monstah's are a local band comprised of Berklee College of Music Graduates. These talented artists perform a variety of Top 40, Pop, R&B, Rock, Motown, Soul, Reggae and more. Learn more about the Soul Monstah's here.

Event Safety:
The safety of our guests, performers and staff remain our top priority. We are closely monitoring all changes to COVID-19 rules and regulations to ensure a safe experience for all. Following CDC guidelines, face masks are no longer required for individuals who are fully vaccinated. All non-vaccinated individuals are advised to continue to wear face masks at Arsenal Yards. However each restaurant and retailer at Arsenal Yards may have different protocols. Events will continue to have limited capacity which will be strictly enforced. Reservations are required, no walk-ins are allowed.

Parking & directions

Arsenal Yards is approximately a 10-minute drive from Harvard Square and approximately a 15-minute drive from Copley Square. Other areas will find it easily accessible from the Mass Pike or Fresh Pond Parkway, among many routes available to Watertown’s East End. Once on site, ample free parking is available. Traveling via public transportation? MBTA bus route 70 stops right on site and can be picked up at the Central Square Red Line T stop.
