Additional Event Details
Art Exhibit:
Brighter Ignited is an illuminated and traveling art exhibit designed by artist Tova Speter that actively encourages people to engage, connect, and play. This super-sized interactive light display features illuminated artwork by hundreds of participants who were asked: When there is something you are passionate about, dedicated to, and ready to stand up for — how do you ignite action?
Inspired by the courage of the Maccabees in the story of Chanukah, Brighter Ignited activates the light from the community and encourages us to explore how we too can stand up for what we believe in.
This interactive sculpture was built by Manny Hutter of Herculean Woodworks and was commissioned in 2022 by the Jewish Arts Collaborative.
Live Music:
We are pleased to welcome Binyomin Septimus as our live performer. Binyomin has been a passionate keyboard player for 10 years. He specializes in Jewish music. While he isn't on the keys he enjoys playing basketball and taking care of his seven adorable siblings.
RSVP via Eventbrite is encouraged but not required. This event will be photographed and by attending you agree to be in photography or video that could be used for Arsenal Yards website or other marketing purposes.
