About the Beneficiary: Founded in 2011, Watertown Community Garden’s (WCG) mission is to promote community gardens and gardening in Watertown, Massachusetts with the goal of advancing healthy eating, environmental stewardship, and community connections through gardening. WCG has created and maintains several public pollinator gardens throughout the city to support native plants and pollinators, such as birds, bees and butterflies. We hold volunteer work days, during which volunteers can learn about the benefits of planting native plants and how they can beautify the community. While WCG’s community garden space is limited in 2023, we expect to have more gardening space available for the 2024 season. For more information, click here.
