Hanukkah Celebration

In partnership with Chabad Watertown, please join us for the first-ever public menorah lighting ceremony and celebration!

Featuring a live fire dance performance, lighting ceremony, live music, complimentary treats, crafts and more!
Plus! A special Gelt Drop thanks to our friends at the Watertown Fire Department.

All are welcome for this celebration!

When: Monday, December 19th
Time: 4:30 - 5:30pm
Fire performance will start promptly at 4:45pm, followed by the lighting ceremony at 5:00pm.
Where: Bond Sq. in Arsenal Yards

Additional Event Details
Fire Dancer:
Gather as we light up the night with our Fire Dancer! He will literally bring the heat to our wonderful celebration, and we are so excited to watch as he spins unique Fire props and performs mind blowing Fire eating tricks.

Live Music:
We are pleased to welcome Binyomin Septimus as our live performer. Binyomin has been a passionate keyboard player for 10 years. He specializes in Jewish music. While he isn't on the keys he enjoys playing basketball and taking care of his seven adorable siblings.

Make-Your-Own Menorah Craft:
Thanks to our friends at Home Depot, families can build their own menorah onsite or take home with them.

Menorah Lighting Ceremony:
Will start promptly at 5pm and will include words from Rabbi Dovid of Chabad Watertown along with City Manager, George Proakis.

RSVP via Eventbrite is encouraged but not required. This event will be photographed and by attending you agree to be in photography or video that could be used for Arsenal Yards website or other marketing purposes. This event is also weather dependent and Arsenal Yards reserves the right to cancel in the case of inclement weather.

Parking & directions

Arsenal Yards is approximately a 10-minute drive from Harvard Square and approximately a 15-minute drive from Copley Square. Other areas will find it easily accessible from the Mass Pike or Fresh Pond Parkway, among many routes available to Watertown’s East End. Once on site, ample free parking is available. Traveling via public transportation? MBTA bus route 70 stops right on site and can be picked up at the Central Square Red Line T stop.
