Fall Falladays: Pumpkin Carving Contest

Sign-up to enter Arsenal Yards' third annual pumpkin carving contest!

Calling all artists, creators or people who are really good at carving pumpkins... now's the time to show a pumpkin who's boss for a chance to win big (a $500-value grand prize!).
The public will have one weekend to vote for their favorites, while on display at Arsenal Yards during our Fall Falladays.

Sign up requirements:
$5 donation to the Watertown Boys & Girls Club, cost includes a medium-size pumpkin for carving

BONUS: on pumpkin pickup day, join us for a Harvest Market featuring Roche Bros. plus live music & activities.

Prizes include:
1st Place: The ultimate Arsenal Yards Dining Experience ($500 value!)
2nd Place: The full shopping package at Arsenal Yards ($300 value!)
3rd Place: A family experience to Majestic 7 ($150 value!)

Spooky, scary, cute or funny, all creative designs are welcome as long as they are appropriate for a family-friendly audience. Please note, there is no age limit to participate, however serious pumpkin carvers only.

Schedule of Events Include:

Friday, October 21st, 4-6pm: Pumpkin Pickup!
*Please pick up your pumpkin for carving during this window of time at Arsenal Yards, near Shake Shack.

Friday, October 28th: Pumpkin Drop Off from 4-6pm!
*Please drop off your completed and carved pumpkin during this window of time at Arsenal Yards, near Shake Shack

Friday, October 28th (evening) - Monday, October 31st Public Voting!
*The public is encouraged to come visit these pumpkins on display and vote for their favorite!

Voters can simply scan the QR code near the pumpkins to select their favorites. All voting will be completed online.

Tuesday, November 1st, Winners are selected!
*Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be selected

Parking & directions

Arsenal Yards is approximately a 10-minute drive from Harvard Square and approximately a 15-minute drive from Copley Square. Other areas will find it easily accessible from the Mass Pike or Fresh Pond Parkway, among many routes available to Watertown’s East End. Once on site, ample free parking is available. Traveling via public transportation? MBTA bus route 70 stops right on site and can be picked up at the Central Square Red Line T stop.
