Outdoor Fitness: Pure Barre

Take a lil' workout break and meet us on the River Green - our outdoor fitness series, sponsored by Blvd & Bond is BACK.

Join us every Tuesday, for an outdoor Pure Barre class with the team at Pure Barre Arsenal Yards (PBAY) (coming soon!). Pure Barre offers an effective total body barre workout focused on low-impact, high intensity movements that lift and tone muscles to improve strength, agility and flexibility for every body.

A small donation to the Watertown Boys & Girls Club is requested to secure your spot in class. The River Green is located in front of Shake Shack. Please bring your own mat and water. Masks are required and attendees will select a socially distant location upon check-in.

Registration required, limited space available. Registration opens one week before the class. Classes are weather dependent and we reserve the right to cancel classes in the case of inclement weather. All refunds will be processed for canceled classes.

About Watertown Boys & Girls Club
The Watertown Boys & Girls Club's mission is to inspire and enable all young people especially those who need them the most to realize their full potential as a productive, responsible and caring citizen. The WBGC serves 1,000 registered members between 7 and 18 years old and they offer a wide range of activities and programs to fit individual needs. The club is a safe, creative setting with trained, compassionate adult staff who help guide and coach boys and girls in academic success, healthy living, character development and peer relationships. Young people enjoy meaningful opportunities to grow, learn and share during their critical childhood and teen years.

About the Series:
In partnership with local Watertown and Greater Boston Fitness studios, join us daily Sunday - Wednesday for a variety of outdoor classes April - September. All classes support a local community organization which will change each month. Classes may vary per week, please check our Events Calendar for all available classes. Classes will be held outside in the River Green, located near Shake Shack. Parking is available in the free red or purple parking garage, along with the surface parking area near City Works.

Event Safety:
The safety of our guests, instructors and staff remain our top priority. We are closely monitoring all COVID-19 rules and regulations to ensure a safe experience for all. Please note, masks are required at the event. Individuals will be separated by at least 6ft and will be assigned a socially distant location upon check-in. There is limited capacity for this event which will be strictly enforced. Reservations are required, no walk-ins allowed.

Parking & directions

Arsenal Yards is approximately a 10-minute drive from Harvard Square and approximately a 15-minute drive from Copley Square. Other areas will find it easily accessible from the Mass Pike or Fresh Pond Parkway, among many routes available to Watertown’s East End. Once on site, ample free parking is available. Traveling via public transportation? MBTA bus route 70 stops right on site and can be picked up at the Central Square Red Line T stop.
