Outdoor Fitness: Kick it by Eliza

Take a lil' workout break and meet us on the River Green - our outdoor fitness series, sponsored by Blvd & Bond, is BACK.

Join us for an outdoor Kick it By Eliza class with Steph Wong! Kick it by Eliza is an award winning kickboxing and music inspired fitness brand. It is a high intensity interval training class with kickboxing, boxing, rhythmic components and a meditative cool down. All levels welcome.

A small donation to the Watertown Food Pantry is requested to secure your spot in class. The River Green is located in front of Shake Shack. Please bring your own mat and water. Masks are required and attendees will select a socially distant location upon check-in.

Registration required, limited space available. Registration opens one week before the class. Classes are weather dependent and we reserve the right to cancel classes in the case of inclement weather. All refunds will be processed for canceled classes. 

About Kick it By Eliza:
Eliza Shirazi is the creator and founder of the Award-Winning kickboxing and music inspired fitness brand, Kick it By Eliza. This method was born out of Eliza's passion for dance, fitness and community while she attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Upon graduating in 2013, Eliza became a New Balance sponsored athlete and awarded Best in Boston by several publications. Most recently, Kick It has certified over 400 nationwide, which has gained the attention of publications like Glamour, Self and Seventeen magazine. Kick it by Eliza's mission is to empower females better known as the Fempire, through a 13 round kickboxing and music-driven group fitness method.

About the Instructor:
Meet Kick It By Eliza® instructor, Steph Wong! Her love for movement, music and fitness began with her background as a dancer. She became a Kick It instructor after falling in love with the 13-round group fitness method and has since felt so grateful to be a part of this inclusive and supportive community. Get ready to move (and sweat) with Steph in this fun and empowering space for individuals of all levels!

About the Fitness Series:
In partnership with local Watertown and Greater Boston Fitness studios, join us daily Sunday - Wednesday for a variety of outdoor classes April - September. All classes support a local community organization which will change each month. Classes may vary per week, please check our Events Calendar for all available classes. Classes will be held outside in the River Green, located near Shake Shack. Parking is available in the free red or purple parking garage, along with the surface parking area near City Works. Event Safety:
The safety of our guests, instructors and staff remain our top priority. We are closely monitoring all COVID-19 rules and regulations to ensure a safe experience for all. Please note, masks are required at the event. Individuals will be separated by at least 6ft and will be assigned a socially distant location upon check-in. There is limited capacity for this event which will be strictly enforced. Reservations are required, no walk-ins allowed.

Parking & directions

Arsenal Yards is approximately a 10-minute drive from Harvard Square and approximately a 15-minute drive from Copley Square. Other areas will find it easily accessible from the Mass Pike or Fresh Pond Parkway, among many routes available to Watertown’s East End. Once on site, ample free parking is available. Traveling via public transportation? MBTA bus route 70 stops right on site and can be picked up at the Central Square Red Line T stop.
